Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila makes Gustavo Paez pay R2m by FIFA

Former Kaizer Chiefs forward’s agent Gustavo Paez has confirmed the striker will receive a handsome payment following a FIFA ruling in his case against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

Paez had taken TTM to the governing body of world football after the Venda-based team terminated their contract without officially throwing a ball to them in 2020. This was after TTM alleged the forward was still under contract with a team in Venezuela and was afraid to repeat the mistake made by Kaizer Chiefs in the case of Andriamirado Aro Hasina Andrianarimanana (Dax) who saw the Soweto giants get a two-window transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

Now, Siya’s team have contacted Paez’s South African agent Gerald Baloyi of Vodia Sports Management, who confirmed to the team that FIFA had indeed ruled in favor of the 32-year-old, who had to pay around 2 million rand from TTM.

“I still expect everything from the lawyer in Venezuela, although I can confirm that Gustavo will receive his money from R2m, which I rightly owe him,” Baloyi told Siya’s team.

Paez, who is currently on the books for Zamora FC in the Venezuelan Primera División, has made public his desire to return to Mzansi to fulfill his wish, with the agent revealing that they are currently working on a deal for him in the DStv Premiership.

“I’m currently working on something for Paez right now and hopefully something will happen in the new season,” he said.
