Personal Trainer Buys Fit Body Boot Camp in Holland Township
HOLLAND — Akeem Cason has been a central figure at Fit Body Boot Camp at Riley Plaza since the day it opened. On Friday, April 1, he will become the owner.
As a personal trainer, Cason has been leading sessions and managing the day-to-day operations of the facility since 2016. He will acquire Fit Body Boot Camp of Holland and operate the business under a new name: Health3.
“Today marks the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of having full ownership of a thriving gym and wellness community,” Cason said. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into this community over the past six years and am thrilled to continue to be healthier and stronger with the members.”

Health3 will take a holistic approach to training, with a focus on physical, mental and emotional health. The location will continue to offer the same 30-minute high-intensity interval workouts, but with expanded programming that “equally trains and supports the mind and spirit.”
Cason grew up in Benton Harbor, graduating from Michigan Technological University with a degree in fitness and sports management. He has been working in the fitness industry since 2013 and lives in the Netherlands with his wife and daughter.
Health3 is located at 12719 Riley St.
