During his career, Southgate has worked extensively through North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In addition to his most recent role as Global Director of Growth at McCann WorldGroup, he has also served as Regional Director and Director of Customers for the Company through Europe & UK, and has been closely involved in many of Worldgroup’s most important organic growth and new business activities with clients such as eBay, L’Oréal, The Coca-Cola Company, RB, Nestlé and Just Eat Takeaway .
Prior to joining Worldgroup, Toby spent 10 years in WPP’s brand consulting unit, Union of brands, eventually becoming the youngest CEO of the WPP network while leading Union of brands to his first great successes at Cannes and the Effies. Working within the group, Toby has helped build and launch integrated teams for clients such as Vodafone, Dell, DuPont, Bank of America, Shell, GSK and IAG.
