India’s Three-Day International Sports Expo 2022 Begins – Transcontinental Times

INDIA. Uttar Pradesh: Indian athletes show off their skills at Commonwealth Games 2022; India is also strengthening its overall sports management.

The 10th Sport India International Expo 2022 is taking place in Greater Noida which is a further step on this development path. This three-day event will take place at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from August 4-6.

The main objective of the event is to make India a prominent role in international sport. The guest of honor at the inauguration is Shri Girish Chandra Yadav, Minister of Sports and Youth, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

In addition, Ms. Ekta Vishnoi, Director of Fit India Mission, and Dr. Somendra Tomar, Minister of State for Electricity and Alternative Energy, Government of Uttar Pradesh, come to share their insights.

“Sport drives our economic growth because the development of the sports sector has a positive impact on our economy, not only in the production of sporting goods but also on the economy as a whole, providing more manpower due to the fact that sport participation increases the quality of life,” he added.
