Former BYU DB Dayan Lake joins Los Angeles Rams

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –Former BYU defensive back Dayan Lake has joined the Los Angeles Rams from the NFL, according to agent Lake.

Lake’s agent, Evan Brennan of United Athlete Sports Agency, broke the news on Twitter on June 1.

The former BYU star had previously signed with the Rams after being undrafted in 2020.

Lake was taken off the Los Angeles list ahead of the start of the 2020 campaign.

During the 2020 season, the defensive back signed with the New England Patriots as a player on the practice squad.

Lake, who also called himself “Dayan Ghanwoloku” while at BYU, performed for the Cougars from 2015 to 2019.

While playing for BYU, the defensive back played the cornerback, nickel and safety.

During his college career, the Layton, Utah native has totaled 207 tackles, 149 solo tackles, 2.0 sacks, 1 quarterback, 7 interceptions and 7 fumbles.
