Braves News: Brian Snitker talks Dansby Swanson free agency, more

By on October 19, 2022 0

Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker sat down with ESPN’s Buster Olney to discuss Atlanta’s playoff elimination, Dansby Swanson’s free agency, and more.

“I talked to him [Dansby] after our elimination. I’m waiting for Alex to give me news. All extensions are above me; I sit down and help. They’re very aware of how I feel about this man and how badly I want him back, but I understand it’s a business,” Snitker said of Dansby Swanson’s free agency.

Dansby Swanson enters the offseason as one of the top free agent shortstops in the league. He will receive a qualifying offer this offseason and become eligible for draft compensation.
